Observations by Rick Baldridge from Oakridge Observatory, Calif. - Updated 2007 April 2, 18h UT
From: Rick Baldridge [rickbaldridge@comcast.net] Sent: Thursday, March 29, 2007 2:36 AM To: Albers, Jim; Dunham, David Subject: Preliminary data reduction for Baldridge per Jim Albers Jim Albers graciously looked at a DVD copy of a video I took of the Pluto Occultation and reduced a light curve that is here. Equipment was a 16" f5 prime focus Newtonian with a StellaCAM EX using a Wratten 25 (Red) Filter with a 128 frame (approx 2 second) integration. Stars as faint as 16.8 appear on the original. I do not have a flux reading of the star minus Pluto alone from subsequent nights. Location was Oakridge Observatory owned by the Peninsula Astronomical Society at N37.2039 W122.0539 Alt. 2400ft. NAD1927 USNO Sta Code SB482 Tel 1. This location was within about 20 meters of Jim Albers' and Dr. Chris Kitting's stations as previously reported to you. Unfortunately, I stopped the video before the final reappearance of the Occultation Event, making my data less scientifically valuable. Live and Learn!
