McCants was just inside the s. limit; Kerry Coughlin's miss at the n. limit in La Paz, Baja California confirms that the path shifted south
From: David Dunham [dunham@starpower.net] Sent: Monday, November 19, 2007 11:12 AM To: IOTAoccultations@egroups.com Subject: Fwd: Nealley Success from Austin, TX (-29 km) Michael McCants' report below with Kerry Coughlin's miss from +31 km essentially at the predicted northern limit shows that the path probably shifted south by a small amount; McCants' location was at - 29 km, just 3 km n. of the predicted southern limit. Unfortunately, it remained cloudy across Maryland & surrounding States, as well as over central Tenn. and n.w. Louisiana; the 3rd Astro Meteo forecast was much better than the last one. I hope there might be some other positive observations of this. Many thanks, Mike, for your observation and quick report!
