Weather clear with very slight clouds, Temperature 6 deg. F. Seeing
and transparency adequate
Observer: Bill Helms, Alachua Astronomy Club
Equipment: Celestron 8 inch SCT with PanOptic 35 mm eyepiece
Location: Suwannee River Regional Library, Live Oak, FL, 1.45
miles south of U. S. Highway 90 on Highway 349, 0.73 miles South of
predicted path center Lat = 30.276281, Lon = -82.988127 (using

Occultation Ingress: 20:55:59.0 EDT adjusted
for personal equation estimate of 0.5 seconds
Occultation Egress: 20:56:06.5 EDT adjusted for personal equation
estimate of 0.5 seconds
Duration: Approximately 8.1 Seconds
Comments: Iota Cancri acquired with difficulty less than one minute
prior to event, but successfully tracked throughout duration. All
data is subject to further analysis and revision.
