Dear all.

This is Tsutomu Hayamizu (Japan) writing. 
We've gained successful observations of the occultation of SAO 
160784 = HIP 86769 (mag6.4) by (1312)Vassar based on Steve Preston's 
prediction at Nov 07th.  2 sites had success and 3 sites negative 
observations. 

You can see my initial reduction chart here.  

These results have a good fit with Steve's prediction which is drawn 
as a dotted line on the chart. 
Both successes were by VTR (video), so good fit with 
each result, though the duration was less than 1.0sec.
I will send to Dr.Dunham this complete report with other 
small success events and negative only events of 2003 about 
end of this year. But I can report soon, if you hope early.
